Ooltewah sits about twenty minutes from our Cleveland base, straight down I-75, which makes it an easy addition to our routes rather than a stretch. We run scheduled service here, not one-off trips.
The lawns here skew newer than Cleveland's. A lot of these homes were built in the last couple of decades on cleared, full-sun lots and sodded with bermuda or zoysia. That's grass that thrives in a Tennessee summer, and grows fast enough in July and August that a bi-weekly schedule starts showing its age by the second week. It also wants a shorter cut than the fescue on older shaded properties, and cutting it at the wrong height is the most common reason a good lawn looks patchy.
The other thing about newer subdivisions is that everyone can see everyone. When lots sit close together and the whole street was landscaped at the same time, one unkempt yard stands out immediately, and so does one sharply edged one. Consistent edging along drives and walks does more for curb appeal here than anything else we do.
What Ooltewah lawns tend to need
- Weekly service through midsummer. Sunny bermuda and zoysia lots outgrow a bi-weekly schedule from roughly June through August.
- Correct cut height for warm-season grass, which is lower than most homeowners expect and completely different from a shaded fescue lawn.
- Sharp, consistent edging along driveways and sidewalks, which is what actually reads as ‘well kept’ on a close-built street.
- Irrigation systems, which are common on newer builds here. Mark your heads and we'll work around them.
- Predictable scheduling for HOA neighborhoods where letting things slide gets noticed quickly.

Ooltewah isn't in Bradley County. Do you really come out here?
Yes. It's roughly a twenty-minute run from our Cleveland base and it's an established part of our route, not a special trip. Scheduling and pricing work the same as anywhere else we serve.
Weekly or bi-weekly for a lawn out here?
For a full-sun bermuda or zoysia lawn, weekly from about June through August and bi-weekly on either side of that is the honest answer. If bi-weekly is genuinely enough for your lot, we'll tell you so rather than sell you visits you don't need.
Do you work with HOA requirements?
We're happy to keep to whatever standard your neighborhood expects. Tell us what the requirements are and we'll build the schedule around staying inside them.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, and there's no obligation attached to it. Submitting the quote form is a request, not a booking. Nothing is scheduled until we've spoken and you've agreed to it.
Do you require a contract?
No. Recurring service continues because you're happy with it, and you can stop whenever you like.
